Black Pepper Egg Noodle Recipe


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • 2 sprigs fresh sage
  • 1/2 cup aged kasseri cheese (or Padano)
  • 1/4 cup pasta cooking water
  • 1/4 cup shredded kasseri cheese
  • 2 egg noodles
Preparation

Boil the noodles and set them aside. Coarsely crush the black peppercorns. In a pan, melt the butter and add the black peppercorns. Add the sage. Stir in the cheeses and the pasta cooking water, and cook until the sauce thickens. Add the boiled noodles and mix until well combined with the sauce. Serve. Enjoy!
