Tomato and Cream Egg Noodle Recipe


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cheese
  • 200 ml cream
  • 6 basil leaves
  • 1 cup shredded kasseri cheese
  • 3 egg noodles
Preparation

Start by boiling the noodles. In a separate pan, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté lightly. Add the crushed red pepper and tomato paste, and continue cooking. Stir in the fresh cheese and cream. Add the boiled noodles, chopped basil, and a little of the noodle cooking water. Mix until the sauce is well combined and serve. Enjoy!
